We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Odoo Expert Developer with a profound understanding of financial accounting and data security. Applications lacking proven experience in overriding core Odoo functions or strictly enforcing $DR=CR$ constraints will not be considered.
Project Summary Building the LOGOS-AI Financial Core
LOGOS-AI is a rigorous fully automated central accounting system to be built on Odoo Enterprise Edition as a Headless Financial Core. Your primary role is to ensure complete financial integrity of data received from external systems WMS HR via APIs transforming this data into accurately audited fully automated and non-modifiable Journal Entries JEs.
Core Job Requirements and Technical Challenges
1. Financial Integrity and Immutability Data Protection
* ModificationDeletion Block You must **override** the $write()$ and $unlink()$ methods on the $account.move$ and $stock.picking$ models raising an immediate exception if the record state is **'posted'** or **'done'**.
* Correction Method Any correction to a posted ledger entry must be done exclusively by creating a new linked **Reverse Entry**.
* Zero-Sum Rule A stringent API validation must ensure that **Total Debit DR equals Total Credit CR** for every incoming batch of JEs. The API must return a **$400 UNBALANCED$** error upon failure.
2. HR and Payroll Customization $hr.payroll$
* JE Automation Customize the payroll rules engine to generate complex detailed JEs for
* Linking salary cost to the mandatory $analytic\_account\_id$ Cost Center defined on the employees contract.
* Processing employee loan installments settling the $Employee Receivable$ asset account.
* Developing a monthly **Cron Job** to calculate and post the End of Service Benefit EOSB provision $DR$: EOSB Expense $CR$: EOSB Provision.
3. Logistics Billing Module Development $lms\_billing$
* Pro-Rated Billing Algorithm Build a precise Python algorithm utilizing $datetime$ to calculate fees based on fractional time duration minutesdays for storage services. The calculation must dynamically account for the actual number of days in the billing month 28 29 30 or 31.
* Monthly Automation Develop a **Cron Job** that runs monthly processes closed $lms.storage.log$ records and generates $account.move$ for Storage and Transport Revenue segregating entries by the required **Profit Center**.
4. Secure API Interface Development Headless
* Security and Authentication Build **REST API** endpoints in Odoo using **API Key** or **OAuth 2.0** authentication and establish specific access privileges e.g. High Privilege for Posting Reporting Privilege.
* Duplicate Prevention The API must check for a unique $external\_transaction\_id$ in every incoming payload. Duplicate transactions must be rejected with a **$409 CONFLICT$** error.
* Multi-Currency Validation Enforce mandatory inclusion of $exchange\_rate$ and $base\_currency\_amount$ fields in the payload if the transaction currency does not match the companys base currency.
5. Performance and Auditing
* Implement fiscal period locking mechanisms to prevent posting into closed periods.
* Optimize financial reporting performance e.g. Trial Balance by creating a **Materialized View** in PostgreSQL updated via a **Cron Job** ensuring fast data retrieval instead of querying large historical $account.move.line$ tables.
