Program to scrape PDF documents
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a program which I can run myself which will scrape the PDFs which are saved in one location and output into an excel file. Details below:
1. Program which I can run manually
2. There will be PDF documents in one folder on my desktop
3. PDF's in this folder may have different number of pages etc, however all will have a consistent table in them
4. The consistent table will always commence with the page titled Appendix 4C (pg 1 of the simple example and pg7 of the larger one in the attached files
5. I need the following files extracted and put into an excel file
Filename - name of file being extracted
Name of Entity - From PDF
ABN - From PDF
Quarter Ending - From PDF
Fields 1 through to 8.6.3 - From PDF
Extract the first column Current Quarter - From PDF
6. I need the program to go through each of the files in the folder location and save each file as a separate row of data in the one excel file.
7. For the 2 PDF attached I attach a sample of the output expected assuming these are the only two files in the folder.
There is 3 files attached, one in excel is the sample output, then there is 2 samples of the PDFs.
In your reply please let me know how much this will be, how long it will take and mention the word carrot so I understand that you have read all the requirements.
