Port Perl code to Python

Job ID: 36028202

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

Hi,

I have a small project of about 800 lines of Perl code that I want to port to Python. This includes lots of spacing and almost identical functions and repetition so it's quite small. It creates a point-cloud of some 3D coordinates and rotates it, saving each frame as a separate JPG which I render as an animation outside of Perl.

I would like this ported intelligently to Python. I don't want a dumb line-for-line port - I need someone to understand how the code works and use modern Python data structures and an image library (opencv?) to reproduce what is happening, while keeping it simple enough for me to understand and continue with.
