PWA Ecommerce website with Custom Features YII2 Javascript Python
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
Objective: We are looking for developers for an already existing platform, to extend it and give it a new UI design. The website is build in yii2, but we want the extendings to be modular (easy to implement on other websites) and in python and javascript only.
Technical Feature Summary
General System Requirements
• Use modular JS-based architecture, PHP only when required.
• Enable PWA support for selected modules (e.g., POS, landing pages).
• Implement role-based access control across all modules.
• Follow exact layout and styling from provided PSD/UI files.
• Ensure multi-language support across frontend, SEO, and content modules.
Core Modules & Platform Functions
1. Point of Sale System (POS)
• Must be installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
• Downloadable directly from the merchant dashboard.
• Controlled via Superadmin: toggle to enable/disable POS availability.
• Works offline with local order caching and sync on reconnect.
• Includes QR-based payment integration (PayPal, bank).
• Prints via Web Bluetooth or LAN.
• Sends invoices via email with GDPR-compliant data handling.
2. Internal Wallet System
• Wallets for users, merchants, franchise accounts.
• Deposit funds via PayPal; request withdrawals via PayPal.
• Some roles (staff, drivers, chefs, etc.) cannot access wallet features.
• Wallet balance required to be 0 before allowing account deletion.
3. Direct Payment Routing
• Multi-vendor PayPal system to send funds directly to merchants.
• Used for regular orders and public wishlist purchases.
• Anonymous checkout: no merchant/user data visible to buyer.
• Tip payments go directly to user wallet (e.g., wishlist creators).
4. Public Wishlist Purchase System
• Users create public wishlist menus with delivery preferences.
• Other users can purchase them anonymously.
• Purchased wishlists unlock a downloadable file (optional).
• Each wishlist entry can only be bought once.
• Buyer can leave a tip and message post-checkout.
• Option to stay anonymous or show name.
5. Leftover Meals & Discount Listings
• Merchants can list surplus food from the previous day at a discount.
• Select multiple items with checkboxes to set:
◦ Quantity available
◦ Discounted price
◦ Expiration time
• Once sold out or expired → item is automatically hidden.
• Visible only within delivery zone of the user.
6. Profile Visibility Boost (Organic + Paid)
• Profiles gain natural visibility via performance:
◦ Ratings, completed orders, low cancellation, fast handling.
• Alternatively, merchants can pay for profile boost:
◦ One-time or bundled with subscription.
◦ Boosted visibility across homepage, search, categories.
• Visibility rules and impact tracked in analytics dashboard.
7. Static Page Builder with SEO
• Admin can create informational pages with WYSIWYG editor.
• Supports full HTML and embedded media.
• Custom URLs, metadata, Open Graph tags, and structured data per page.
• Language-specific versions per page.
