Outdoor-Bot: Autonomous Snow removal AV stack
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am in the process of building an autonomous robot snowblower and need expert software crafting assistance to bring this venture to life. The robot will primarily focus on small residential areas, with light snow conditions.
The central tasks include:
1. **Path Planning:** Programming the system to navigate and create optimum paths for snow clearance.
2. **Obstacle Avoidance:** Configuring sensors to accurately identify and evade obstacles on the property.
Write software for an autonomous robot snowblower to make a minimum viable product. Use a luxonis OAk-D depth camera (stereo vision with built in IMU) as the main forward facing sensor. Perform perception, localization, path planning and a cleaning routine. Code to be written in ROS / ROS 2 /python / C++ on an ubuntu platform. You will have remote access to the robot.
