Odoo Integration Specialist for LMS

Job Title: Odoo Community Setup & LMS Integration Expert
Project Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Odoo developer/integrator who has previously implemented Odoo Community Edition for custom integrations. Our goal is to self-host Odoo Community on AWS EC2, build a clean integration with our existing LMS, and ensure multi-school support within the Odoo instance.
✅ Scope of Work:
AWS EC2 Deployment
Set up a secure EC2 instance
Install and configure Odoo Community Edition
Configure PostgreSQL, SSL, Nginx (if needed), backups
Custom API Integration (accounting and HR)
Create clean REST APIs (or XML-RPC if preferred) to allow our LMS to:
Create & fetch invoices++
Record payments
Add new students (as partners)
Fetch student/accounting data
Use token-based or JWT auth for secure communication
Custom Module Development
Build custom modules if needed to extend Odoo functionality
Ensure modularity and upgrade-safe practices
Multi-School Capability
Architect Odoo to handle multiple schools (tenants or structured within one DB)
Ensure separation of data between schools (like partners, products, invoices, etc.)
Best Practices
Follow secure coding standards
Deliver clean, well-documented code
Brief our dev team on how to maintain & extend the setup
? Requirements:
Proven experience deploying Odoo Community Edition on AWS EC2
Prior integration projects using Odoo APIs (REST/XML-RPC)
Experience building custom Odoo modules
Strong understanding of multi-company or multi-school design patterns in Odoo
Ability to work with existing devs for LMS side coordination
Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Odoo accounting module
Experience using Git for version control
Can recommend best approach for school-specific invoice formats
