Job Description:
Seeking a skilled freelancer to install Odoo, ensure server security, and provide ongoing maintenance for my system. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Odoo 15 comm. installation and configuration, server administration, and implementing robust security measures. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Odoo Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure Odoo 15 on our Ubuntu server for optimal performance and compatibility.
Set up dependencies such as Python and PostgreSQL.
Configure Odoo settings, including database connection, ports, and addons.
Server Security:
Implement robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
Set up firewall rules to restrict access to necessary ports and services.
Enforce strong password policies and consider implementing two-factor authentication.
Regularly update and patch server software.
SSL and HTTPS Configuration:
Ensure SSL certificates are properly configured for secure connections.
Enable HTTPS for all domains and services using Let's Encrypt.
Implement necessary redirects and automate certificate renewal.
Familiarity with Cloudflare to enhance security and performance.
Monitoring and Logging:
Set up monitoring tools to track server performance, availability, and potential issues.
Configure logging mechanisms to capture system and application logs.
Utilize tools like Prometheus and Grafana for server monitoring.
Configure ELK stack for centralized logging and analysis.
Disaster Recovery Plan:
Develop a comprehensive plan for data backup and restoration in emergencies.
Establish backup schedules and storage locations.
