Odoo Implementation Project
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
This is a project for one of our clients. This client is a B2B company, they resell products to their customers along with some services that they provide. We want to implement Odoo 16 from scratch. You will be using Odoo sh. The development part is about the sales cycle starting from CRM all the way to Accounting apps. The involve modules are CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Projects, and Accounting. The requirements are as the follow:
- Implement what it’s called “Profit Calculator”. This profit calculator is an Excel file that the client uses to play with a percentage of different factors to decide his sales price. For example, the cost for an item is x$, there are four factors that will decide the sales price of that item (factors like risk margin, overhead percentage, shipping and delivery, and profit margin). So, when a salesman creates a quotation, he will be able to adjust these percentages (no standers) to the cost prices of the product and the sales prices will be showing the to the customers after adding all the profit percentage.
- When it comes to milestone or how to invoice the customer. The client wants to have the ability to divide the payments into a several milestones. The in-charge user for invoicing (or it could be the salesman) should have the ability to set several milestones and a due date for each milestone. For example, a sales order is confirmed with a total amount of 10,000$. At the same time, they have already agreed on 5 payments starting from the end of the following month. So, there will be 5 milestones of 20% of the total amount starting from the end of the following month.
- HR app also is required but only minor development is required. There are 5 to 7 fields need to be added to the employee’s private information view. Moreover, there are some additional salaries’ rules to be added to match the salaries’ standers in Saudi Arabia. These rules are pre-implemented in Odoo stander, and it just need to applied to the system.
- Client has his own branding profile that need to be applied in Odoo. Things like logo, fonts, and documents layout (Sales orders, Invoices, Payment Receipts, etc…).
These are the major requirement in this project. During the implementation, if the client required other modification it will not exceed 15% of the above requirement. So, you need to take that into the consideration. Developer will be granted an access to the company’s account in GitHub along with access to use Odoo.sh for development. One more point to mentioned, is that the developer is required to attend the meeting with the client if its required. Meeting will be in the Saudi Arabian time zone (+03:00 GMT). Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
