Odoo V14 Community POS - Host2T integration to Payment terminal (Ingenico/Bambora) -- 2

We're a Finnish Odoo partner and we would like to develop an integration to a Bambora payment terminal (to capture card payments) from Odoo POS. After the project is done, we will retain the rights to use and distribute the integration to our clients.
The end result should be:
-Odoo POS sends information to the payment terminal (sum, etc.)
-Customer pays using Debit/Credit, by inserting the card or using NFC
-Payment terminal sends information to Odoo POS about the status of the payment.
There is a very well documented integration layer available from the payment terminal provider. Since we are dealing with payments and card information here, it is paramount that all the applicable rules are followed.
Previous experience with payment terminals would be extremely useful.
A lot of code already done.
