Job Title: System and Network Engineer for Deployment and Support Projects
Job Description:
I am looking for a skilled System and Network Engineer with over 9+ years of experience in providing support for designing, deploying, and maintaining network architecture. The primary responsibilities include:
Leading new deployment projects/products, including network connectivity and troubleshooting for system launches.
Providing support for OpenWave product deployments and managing running systems.
Monitoring and managing core network performance using tools like Riverbed (Opnet) solutions VNE and nCompass servers.
Creating Python scripts for automating data fetching (SNMP) and managing MRTG solutions for critical interface utilization.
Diagnosing and resolving network incidents within agreed timeframes, ensuring continuous system performance and stability.
Collaborating with Senior Architects to translate customer requirements into effective system designs.
Documenting troubleshooting efforts and providing feedback for product improvements.
Required Skills:
Network and System Administration (CCNA, MCSA certifications preferred).
Experience with Riverbed (Opnet), VAS database management, and incident management systems.
Python scripting for network data management.
Strong communication and customer service skills for working with clients and technical teams.
Ability to work under pressure and solve complex technical issues.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with large-scale deployment projects for telecommunication systems.
Background in network monitoring and performance engineering.
Familiarity with VOIP system management and troubleshooting.
