Need small mod in python script (mqtt, mqtt2sql.py)

Step 1: Add a function that takes all incoming data from a mqtt client and put all of it in one column.
Step 2: Once tested and if it works as I need, we'll then remove the original code which takes the data and separates it into different columns as it won't be needed anymore.
My app would then take care of parsing the data in the single column rather than multiples.
Knowledge of MQTT and communications is a must.
