Hi,
I would like to develop a better understanding of the LTR lambdaMart algorithm.
I am currently following the code in https://github.com/houchenyu/L2R/blob/master/LambdaMART.py
I have no problem with the python side of things, but want to get a better understanding of the 'lambda' parameters being calculated in the "compute_lambda" function.
Please note I'm more interested in someone who can help me walk through and mathematically explain what's going on, not just the code as I understand that.
