Need to add price scraper on server
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need someone to either create a new scraper or fix the other scraper another developer created whichever is easier, and faster. This will be setup on our server using python and selenium so you must have extensive knowledge of how to do this. Once setup on the server it will then need to be scheduled to run daily at 12:01 am EST and then gather prices then update then into our database. All this will be done by you.
The scraper will go out to three different websites (universal Orlando, Seaworld orlando, and Busch gardens Tampa) and gather the daily price of admission (prices change based on the date the customer wants the ticket for) for current date and 89 days into the future.
The prices scraped for each day will be:
Universal orlando
-1 day 1 park ticket
-1 day 2 park ticket
-1 day 1 park express pass
-1 day 2 park express pass
-Halloween horror nights admission ticket
-Halloween horror nights express pass
Seaworld orlando
-1 day admission
-1 day quick que pass
Busch Gardens Tampa
-1 day admission
-1 day quick que pass
Aquatica orlando
-1 day admission
All of these theme parks prices change prices daily, so for instance this Friday could be $50 but then Sunday could be $70 etc. which is why this needs done for every date.
Once the scraper has gathered these prices then the script will add 6.5% to the price and then round up or down to the nearest whole dollar. This will then become (and labeled) PARKSPRICE
Then the script will take PARKSPRICE and deduct either a dollar amount or a percentage (defined in separate config file along with the path to the database). Once the amount has been deducted, that amount will then be rounded to the nearest $5 dollar mark and then this price will be labeled OURPRICE.
OURPRICE, PARKSPRICE, date of visit, and themeparkID will then be either added (if record doesn’t exist) or updated into our MySQL database. (Theme park ID will be given to you by us, they are already predefined)
The price for this project will be $200. You will be paid 200 in full once project has been verified to be fully working. Please note that when you are deploying all this to the server, you will need to login to our anydesk remotely, for a monitored session, as no credentials will be released to developers.
If you are ready to do this please ping me
