NHL Model or Stats Book in Excel

We want a python web scraper to pull data from nhl.com or espn.com into an excel file. Looking to pull info such as player names, teams, sog, hits, assists, goalie saves, and such. Have the excel book store the information so we could either compare it to the sportsbooks. And then generate a model of the two teams playing each other.
