Moodle LMS Integration with Machine Learning for Kids
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm looking for a Moodle LMS expert to help me integrate the Machine Learning for Kids platform into our existing LMS. The aim of this integration is to leverage machine learning capabilities to enhance the learning experience. This project is research. It does not require technical implementation, but requires technical analysis and solution design with complete documentation.
We want to use https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/ in combination with https://moodle.org/. We know that with Machine Learning for Kids, we can train models on the https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/ platform and then, using the Scratch or Python languages, program and create activities with these models. The research to be conducted is about whether this entire process can be carried out within the Moodle environment without needing to navigate to https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/. The IBM Watson API will be used for the integration. What kind of API calls will be made, what settings will be needed, where will the data be recorded, and will there be the possibility of generating reports? It also needs to be investigated whether the results of creating these activities can be executed within the Moodle environment.
As an example, the H5P activity, which operates similarly, can be used. From Moodle, it calls the interactions, the teacher sets the settings, and the student executes them, storing the data in a database that appears in the reports. This is the kind of analysis we want, not Moodle development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical analysis of the integrations
- API key points
- Full documentation
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Moodle LMS
- Strong experience in integrating third-party platforms
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Technical analysis expert
Deliverables:
• Mockups of the process (indicatively the teacher's settings page (with or without the upload), the student's View (Player page), the reports/logs that the teacher sees for all students, the reports/Logs that the student sees for him/herself)
• API matching for settings pages in Moodle.
• Database schema
• Detailed documentation of the process
