Modifying Python code for use in AWS Lambda environment - Must know Python and how to work with AWS DynamoDB

I have python code used in AWS lambda environment that interacts with DynamoDB. I'm looking to modify the code to add additional functionality, but I do not know Python well (or interactions with boto/dynamoDB). I can code some in VBA and SQL and can understand code language, but do not know all the proper syntax in order to modify properly. The code is simple code and is under 90 lines long. I will pay on per functionality code changes. My first change is to check if the dynamoDB has a partition key record and if so, put only certain fields into the dynamoDB. I would imagine the code modifications are 5 lines of code or less. I have attached the existing python code with my comments in the code where I'm looking for it to evaluate if a specific delivery_id (partition key) value exists and perform a certain function. This is an ongoing project and a freelancer can continue to assist and earn money by assisting with future modifications. The winning freelancer must be quick to respond to communication as I will test their solution and confirm operational or provide error messages from logs to resolve.
