Mentor Needed for LoRA Models Fine-tuning

Job ID: 39158100

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

Looking for a Mentor in Fine-Tuning LoRA Models (Phi-4, LLaMA 3, etc.)

I'm looking for an experienced and pedagogical mentor who can quickly teach me how to fine-tune large language models (Phi-4, LLaMA 3, etc.) using LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) with Unsloth on Google Colab. My goal is to train models on business-specific datasets so companies can get AI systems that answer their internal questions accurately.

About Me:

Strong Python skills, comfortable sending prompts to models.

No prior fine-tuning experience, but eager to learn fast.

I want to offer fine-tuned AI solutions as a consultant for small businesses.

What I Need From You:

A structured step-by-step learning approach that gets me up to speed quickly.

Help troubleshooting common issues when fine-tuning on custom business datasets.

Guidance on saving, loading, and deploying fine-tuned models effectively.

Clear explanations—I’ve tried existing guides but get stuck.

Mentorship Test (LoRA + Unsloth on Colab)

Can you provide a Colab notebook that:

1. Loads an open-source model (e.g., Phi-4, LLaMA 3) with Unsloth.

2. Fine-tunes it on a dummy business dataset (e.g., company history, safety protocols).

3. Saves the model and demonstrates how to reload it for inference.

If you have the skills, patience, and energy to teach a beginner efficiently, I’d love to connect and learn from you!
