Mechanical Laboratory 3D Animation
Budget: $30 – $150 CAD
Please read the whole project before bidding. I consider all bid proposals so don't waste my time with a fake bid.
I'm in need of a mechanical engineering freelancer with a strong background in Python and SolidWorks, particularly skilled in producing high-quality, Manim-style mathematical video presentations.
https://www.manim.community/
This project primarily involves creating mechanical explanatory videos using Manim, focused specifically on the topic of Mechanical Vibration.
Key requirements:
- Proficient in Python, for detailed Manim animation
- Strong background in mechanical engineering
- Experience with creating Manim animations
- Ability to translate complex mechanical concepts into engaging video content
- Previous experience in producing educational videos preferred
Your tasks will include:
Create a video animation using Manim for the following 3 laboratories and their lectures
1) Experiment/Lab. 1 - Pasta Uncertainty, strain gauges basics, mechanics, wheatstone bridge, bonding strain gauges
2) Experiment/Lab. 2 - Soda Can (Pressure vessel strains) thin walled pressure vessels
3) Experiment/Lab. 3 - Beam Bending stress concentration, stress strain,
Your resoures are

Material that I would provide
Your mechanical engineering books, knowledge,
The 1st video will show how to assemble strain gages and how to measure them
Timeframe:
- The completion deadline is < 3 days i.e. project should be finished in < 3days. This is a critical aspect of the project, so punctuality is paramount.
=============================================
Note: this project is just concrened with the strength of materials or solid mechanics, however, this is a seed project i.e. if you perform well I will rehire you for future work in doing laboratories for
Mechanical vibration:
Natural Modes, Resonance
Frequency Response Functions Resonance, Damping
Digital Signal Processing/Feedback control systems lab:
You may suggest 3 topics that are related and of benefit for mechanical engineers
Again, I am looking for mechanical engineers with Python, Manim and 3D animation skills. Please feel free to ask questions.
I'm open to creative inputs but the final output should primarily adhere to high quality 3D animated videos.
