About MAP: Meet. Align. Play.
We’re India’s first IRL (in real life) social app that helps people meet through fun activities, not just chatting or swiping. People use MAP to find events, hobbies, friendships, and meaningful connections offline.
The app is live and built on Flutter (cross-platform) with Python backend. But some parts still look and feel like a dating app — we need your help to change that.
What We Need You to Do
• Go through the current app and suggest + implement changes
• Remove “romance-only” flows and add “friendship,” “group hangout,” “activity-first” options
• Add smart filters (solo, group, hobbies, etc.)
• Improve profile setup, home feed, and onboarding to match our new vision
• Work closely with founders to finish the application ASAP
Skills We’re Looking For
• Strong Flutter app development experience (cross-platform)
• Backend experience with Python (our app uses Python for database/backend)
• Good understanding of user journeys and social app behavior
• Startup-style working: fast, hands-on, solution-focused
• Bonus: You’ve worked on community, dating, or event-based apps before
• Are not afraid to suggest bold changes to make the product better
