Looking for a Freelance Developer for a Meta Quest 2 App using Unity
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a freelance developer with experience in Meta Quest 2 and Unity to help me develop a prototype application with the following features:
Project Description:
Splash Screen:
The application should start with a splash screen that displays a logo for a few seconds before proceeding.
Login Window:
After the splash screen, a login window should appear. Upon entering the username and password, the application will connect to a remote server developed in Python.
Server Communication:
The application will send the following data:
Meta Quest headsets:
-Pitch
-Yaw
-Right controller:
-Pitch
-Yaw
-Roll
-Thumbstick
-Grip Button
-Trigger
-Y Button
-X Button
Left controller:
-Pitch
-Yaw
-Roll
-Thumbstick
-Grip Button
-Trigger
The server will send back a video image that will be displayed on a flat rectangle within the Meta Quest 2. I would like the user to have the option to adjust the distance of this rectangle displaying the video image to regulate its proximity.
Data transmission must be as fast as possible, ideally using UDP or a similar protocol that allows for continuous data streaming with a time interval of < 20ms(max 50ms) between data packets containing the state information.
Future Features:
This is a prototype for a robotics project. In future versions, I plan to add more features and security measures to the application.
Requirements:
Experience developing for Meta Quest 2.
Proficiency in Unity.
Knowledge of integrating with remote servers, especially those developed in Python.
Ability to implement user interfaces in virtual reality environments.
If you're interested or have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to me
