Looking to Hire a Data Engineer (Talend ETL Specialist)
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
This role will involve developing data pipelines and data models to support the integration of new data sources and create or update existing ETL and data models to support Tableau data visualisations.
Typical Responsibilities:
Design, engineer and support various ETL data loading patterns such as near real time, batch, historical and incremental.
Working with SQL to manage, manipulate and automate complex data feeds, develop stored procedures, analytical data marts, and new database solutions
Develop Python scripts to manage ETL jobs and orchestrate job schedules for near real time and batch
Experience in designing Reconciliation Frameworks, Data Quality Frameworks.
Evaluate ETL requirements for completeness, accuracy, and feasibility.
Conduct analysis to estimate project timeframes for deliverables.
Develop appropriate test scripts to ensure quality of deliverables.
Author relevant functional and technical documentation.
Skills Required :
Minimum of 5 years' working experience in the data & analytics domain
Strong experience with ETL technologies such as Talend and with a flair for building complex SQL queries
Extensive experience with Python for automation and integration
Demonstrated working knowledge of Snowflake database
Strong data modelling skills with the ability to transform staged data into conformed models and BI Datasets

You are expected to work 4 hrs a day (Monday to Friday)
Preferred Time : 10 AM AEST to 2 PM AEST (including 1 hr of Break)
Pay : $1000 (USD)/month
