Long/Medium Term Gig Opportunity: back-end developer with experience in DB management and Python
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
We are looking for an adaptable database/back-end developer proficient in Python to join our team on a part-time basis for an initial term of 6 months, with potential for extension. This role will involve the initial development and maintenance of a data service platform focused on stock market analytics, leveraging both web scraping and API integration.
Initial Phase Responsibilities:
1. Undertake automation tasks for data scraping, filtering, and storage.
2. Enhance and manage an existing operational script.
3. Participate in selecting and setting up a Bootstrap dashboard template, which will be procured based on project needs.
4. Assist with storing and sorting large volumes of data in MySQL and setting up protocols for automated update of this data based on daily fresh data.
Continued Responsibilities:
1. Integrate back-end into Bootstrap template for a comprehensive and intuitive user interface.
2. Implement features for user account management and personalized data interaction on the Bootstrap dashboard.
Technical Skills Required:
1. Proficiency in Python, particularly in areas of automation, web scraping, API integration, and data processing.
2. Experience with MySQL/PostGRE for effective data storage and retrieval.
3. Basic competence in Bootstrap (we will buy off the shelf template but need to customise)
4. Familiarity with hosting and managing services on Virtual Private Servers and cloud platforms like AWS.
Additional Info: We can provide access to ChatGPT Plus or Github Copilot if needed.
Full Time or Part Time: Either is fine.
