Live Production Integration Expert Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
Working on a broadcast systems upgrade bid and I'm seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in live production integration, particularly with OBS Studio and OBS WebSocket API. Your expertise in BitFocus Companion and StreamDeck workflow programming will be crucial. I need someone who is:
- Familiar with live graphics systems, particularly CasparCG
- Has hands-on experience integrating scoreboard controllers into broadcast systems
- Proficient in Python or Node.js for scripting tasks
- Well-versed in protocols like NDI, MIDI, and WebSocket
Your role will involve commissioning a live streaming broadcast system, so experience in sports, concerts, or esports is a plus. They will be teamed with a broadcast technician who is responsible for setting up and commissioning a 6-8 camera and broadcasting system, as well as a data technician who is in charge of all of the data connections for the system. I also need someone who can handle database integration and is familiar with cloud-based or virtualized production environments. This person would also be required to make standard troubleshooting and training documents. If you have experience building REST APIs or middleware to connect disparate systems, that will be a significant advantage. A background in AV or broadcast engineering will also be beneficial.
Location: Vernon, BC
Time-frame: 2-3 working days on-site, plus additional time needed to assemble training/troubleshooting materials.
