Lead generation platform for quotations in Django

Job ID: 38007975

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

Hello,

I am seeking an experienced and independent full-stack web developer who can build an advanced Django application with a professional webdesign. I hope that we can build the trust to continue this collaboration for a very long time, as I hope to grow this business rapidly.

Freelancer.ph forces me to provide information about the fee, but note that fees are negotiable. Also note that this is a fairly big project, meaning that you will be able to spend many hours on this project.

The application enables website visitors to submit a quotation request to this platform, after which the platform allows registered service providers to reply to this request by uploading a quotation. The application supports numerous “topics”, such as fiscal services, legal services, accountancy, etc., where each topic requires different fields in the form that should be submitted. Service providers pay a fee to respond to this quotation request, meaning that the application should support payment processors. Also, the application should automatically generate invoices as PDF.

In more detail, this is what a typical process looks like:

1. Service providers join the platform by creating a company profile. They choose what services they provide (e.g., accountancy, legal, fiscal, insurances, notary, etc.) Service providers can login to the platform using their email address and password.
2. A visitor visits the website, or one of its landing pages, and submits a quotation request. The user fills in relevant information, such as personalia and information about the service they need, and submit this form. They receive an email to activate their account and can login to review and manage their submissions. They login using their email address and password.
3. This quotation request is sent to X relevant service providers. These service providers are notified by email and through their account on the platform. Service providers are notified to reply to this quotation request within 48 hours.
4. When a service provider views the quotation request on the website, they only see basic information. They have to pay credits (either a single credit or a package of credits which is stored in their account), to view the entire quotation request. This also allows them to contact the requestor.
5. Service providers can buy credits through the application by using a payment processor, like Stripe, PayPal, credit card or iDeal (like Mollie).
6. After payment, the service provider receives an automatically generated invoice. This invoice is sent by email and available for download in the application.
7. Now, the service provider can contact the requestor and discuss the quotation request in detail. They can contact each other by email, phone or in person. The objective of the platform is to enable direct and personal contact between the service provider and requestor.
8. After this contact, the service provider uploads their quotation to our platform and the requestor is notified by email and through the platform.
9. The requestor can review and mark each quotation on various criteria and can select the winning quotation. All service providers are notified about this outcome: rejected or accepted.
10. The requestor can fill in a short feedback form about each service provider and service providers can provide feedback to the requestor. This feedback is not about the content of the quotation, but rather about how the contact went, was there contact, was it serious, etc. They are also asked to share possible improvements to this platform.
11. Here the process ends.

Overall, we expect the developer to be independent and to have experience in developing complex and automated applications in Django.

We perform extensive code review, expect well-documented code, test-driven development and expect optimised code. This application is business critical and should be stable and secure; we cannot tolerate any downtime or bugs.

We also require that the developer signs a non-disclosure agreement and transfers the intellectual property before any payments are made.
