Keepa API Data Extraction from Excel VBA
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
From Excel VBA, we need to call the Keepa API to get data about a specific ASIN. Specifically, the data items will be in a nested JSON response in the Stats data. You will need to pass the Amazon ASIN as a variable to Keepa. It is likely that you will use Python to achieve this, but we are open to other methods.
It must be possible to convert the JSON response into a data dictionary, from which we can assign certain items to Excel variables. For example, we want the average selling price over the last 180 days.
Your code must then pass this data back to Excel VBA, where we will take over with our code.
We have had a lot of time wasters on fiverr.com, so please read the very short specification attached. You will know what VBA, Python, JSON, ASIN and Keepa are since you will have experience of writing an interface to the Keepa API already.
Please do not offer to do website development or Keepa/Amazon website scraping. Your solution MUST go through the Keepa API and MUST be initiated from Excel VBA and MUST return the requested data to Excel VBA.
If you have done this before, it will be a simple project for you, so we would expect results in 2-3 days. The coding is not extensive.
The successful person will be asked to do several further pieces of similar work if this one is successful.
