Javascript & Typescript Developer

Fieldspace is hiring a TypeScript developer to implement a new back-end schema and API for our booking and reservation tool.
This project would involve two components:
a) evaluating our existing codebase and API, written in Python / Django, to understand how things work and whether we should completely overhaul existing code or just revise and build on top.
b) Implement, using TypeScript, the new back-end schema and API that allows for the use case of configuring bookable resources that end users can reserve and pay for. Our new schema is fully documented and we can share the documentation during the application process. You would use our code base to understand existing API functionality and potentially re-write that functionality as well. You would work with our development team to integrate this to an MVP state where a user can find, reserve, and book a resource set up by a Fieldspace business customer.
