Integrate API to my machine learning model

I am looking for an expert to help me integrate an API into my machine learning model. The purpose of this integration is to retrieve data from an external source. This machine learning model is written in Python, and the specific API I would like to integrate is the Wikipedia API to retrieve information on birds.
