Instruction detection system using machine learning and Snort

For this project, I will be creating an instruction detection system based on machine learning algorithms and Snort. To do this, I will be using the CIC-IDS2017 dataset to develop a python program which will be able to detect intrusions. The machine learning algorithms I'll be using are supervised learning (support vector machine) and unsupervised learning (random forest). Secondly with same dataset detect intrusion using snort.
Compare the accuracy of the outcome and plot ( confusion matrix) as well. Provide well written detailed description of all the work as well.
