Instagram DM Webhooks Review & Debugging
Budget: $20 – $100 USD
We are looking for an experienced developer who has worked with the Meta Instagram Graph API and has successfully set up and debugged Instagram Direct Message (DM) webhooks.
Our current setup is not receiving incoming Instagram DMs through our webhook, even though the webhook is correctly registered with Meta. We can receive instagram webhook for some of the accounts though.
We need someone who can:
Review and debug our webhook integration
Verify Meta app permissions and webhook subscription
Ensure our webhook is properly handling IG DM events
Help us test and confirm successful message delivery to the webhook
Possibly assist with any necessary updates to app review or permissions
Requirements:
Strong experience with the Instagram Graph API and Meta for Developers platform
Proven experience setting up and debugging Instagram DM webhooks
Ability to work with Node.js, PHP, or Python (please specify which you're comfortable with)
Familiarity with API logs, webhook signature verification, and HTTPS setups
Bonus:
Experience working with Instagram Business Accounts or Creator Accounts
Previous projects where IG DMs were successfully integrated with a backend
Please include a brief summary of relevant past work and the approach you'd take to troubleshoot the issue.
Strict requirement: This must be a configuration issue or we need to follow up with Instagram. Only people who are interested to go over a call with our developer to solve the problem are encouraged to bid. We need someone to give us advice. Someone who has experience with Meta apps.
