IMAP on Raspberry Pico W

I recently bought a Raspberry Pico W RP2040 and I'm having trouble to receive mails from an IMAP server.
Apparently there are no examples on internet on how to receive emails in Micropython on the Pico W.

My goal is to develop a tool to check if new mails are present in my inbox and flash a little LED. I can program the LED part myself.
I need for you to:
- Make me a small sample project (.py) file that can connect to an IMAP server and see if there are new unread mails. A snippet will do, as long as it works. I can modify the code myself.
- Make me a small tutorial on how to program my Pico W. Micropython is preferred (NOT Python, Micropython) but I'm willing to use other setups (CircuitPython, ...), as long as it gets the job done.
I don't need other code, just the connect part, with the checking for new mails part, and a small tutorial on how to use the code.
Lowest bid will win. Should not take more than 1 hour for the experienced programmer.
