Help me learn to install github scripts

I have been having troubles with pyrhon and nodejs scripts. I am still beginner in python on nodejs itself but when a youtbe video or readme file simply says rpm install etc and it all works but when i try to set the same scripts up and install requirements/ dependencies for github scripts i alwas get errors and notbibg works. I want a couple hours of your time to be able to download from git and install scripts and have them functional.
