Help Write Python Script for Scraping and Indexing These Sites
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Hey all,
I'm slammed with other personal projects and I really need to scrape these two websites:
1.) https://mfimedical.com/
2.) https://www.somatechnology.com/
It's very important that the following is scraped:
1.) Categorie
2.) Product Name
3.) Tags
4.) Length, Width, Height + Weight Measurements
5.) Short Description
6.) Long Description
7.) IMAGES MATCHED TO THE ABOVE DETAILS
I actually had already scraped a decent amount of MFIMedical.com but I can't find the files and might've deleted them when I wiped out my Fedora distro to jump on a clean slate of Fedora Silverblue and get into containers. All that to say, I do know how to do this - I just don't have time. I think MFI Medical has "medical supplies" and it comes out to like 60,000 products. I'm sure you can create a free server for some non-profit organization out there - havne't hunted for those for awhile but they're for sure out there. You could also just store it in one of IBMs free dev storage accounts: https://fedoramagazine.org/make-free-encrypted-backups-to-the-cloud-on-fedora/
I'll probably fork WeDevs ERP just to get something going after you scrape so it's easy to sift through, but for now maybe you can just throw it in a Google Sheets - this is actually ideal for someone that knows Golang and Google Cloud - otherwise you can just do like Selenium and Python.
