Graphical program for Linux
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
This project is to produce a program for Linux that sends and receives information through a USB port. The program will be a graphical program and will be installed from a .deb file. All dependencies will be checked and recorded by the program so that the end user will not be left doubting as to the status of the program installation.
The program will be using special codes to send data from a .csv file to a remote USB device. It will also query that remote device.
There are two .csv files of interest. One is the 'factory default' csv and the other is a 'custom' csv.
The user needs to be able to select the baud settings for the usb device using drop down menus.
There are various buttons required - see the attached pdf.
The programming will be done in something mainstream on Linux like C and GTK or perhaps C++ and QT. It must not have any license restrictions at all.
The programming environment will be Ubuntu Mate 20.04.
