Google Calendar API Python Script
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Here is the problem I am trying to solve:
I want a Python script to connect to the Google Calendar API. The script should create events and read in the Google calendar on a personal (non-business) Google account. Using this script and the Calendar API there will be access tokens generated and I want these access tokens to be permanent. Meaning NOT expire in seven days as is the normal Google auth protocol. I assume this will require special instructions within the front-end of console.cloud.google.com and / or some Python code using Google's authentication libraries.
I want instructions in the Google API to:
1. Create a new project in console.cloud.google.com
2. Approve google calendar API
3. Make oauth credentials
4. Python code that will use these credentials to write + read data.
5. A way to save a permanent token that's won't expire.
For someone experienced with the Google Calendar API and Python modules, this entire project might take an hour. If you're NOT experienced, it might take several days. I'd rather work with someone experienced.
After the time of normal token expiration, I'll send payment. Meaning working for 8 days or so.
To do this job, you need:
1. A working Google account
2. Experience working with Google APIs
3. Python development skills
4. Good English communication
I expect this project finished in two days, with extra time needed for the token expiration test. If it's not done in two days, I'll close the project and will find another freelancer. Rate should be around $100.
Good luck.
