GStreamer Video Processing Expert

I'm seeking an experienced GStreamer developer with strong Python skills, especially in gst-python. Docker proficiency is a plus.
Creation of a new GStreamer element of type BaseTransformer based on gst-python + optimization of the GStreamer pipeline.
Description:
Environment: Web platform based on a Python backend (FastAPI), where GStreamer pipelines are dynamically configured and launched.
Objectives:
Create a GStreamer element in Python (using the gst-python bindings) of type Transformer that performs a vertical crop, changing the aspect ratio at the pipeline output.
Optimization of the GStreamer pipeline will be also required.
Technical Stack:
- Docker (Ubuntu 22.04)
- Python 3.12 / FastAPI
- GStreamer (1.22)
Project involves:
- Real-time video processing
- Implementing video filters
- Setting up video pipelines
- Debugging existing GStreamer scripts
