GPS Spoofing Simulation System Development

Job ID: 39556230

Budget: ₹500,000 – ₹1,000,000 INR

Project: GPS Signal Spoofing Simulation System Using SDR (End-to-End Delivery)

We are seeking a capable and experienced individual or team to develop a GPS signal spoofing simulation system using Software-Defined Radio (SDR). The system must allow GPS signal manipulation in a fully shielded and controlled environment (no open-air transmission).

This is a closed-system project. All hardware and software must be included in your scope. You will be responsible for both development and hardware procurement.
ystem Requirements

Core Functionalities:
Location Manipulation: Ability to spoof latitude/longitude
Time Manipulation: Simulate altered GPS time
Custom Test Scenario Creation:
Define start time, path (via waypoints), and speed
Simulate motion across a route
Option to run fixed-location spoofing
Shielded Testing Only: Output signals must be confined to an RF-shielded environment
Software Features:

User Interface (Dashboard):
Create and save test cases
Trigger simulations
Toggle between fixed and moving spoofing
View real-time status or logs
Logs & Reports:
Store simulation results with timestamps
Exportable in CSV and/or JSON
Basic error handling (e.g., signal generation failure)
Simulation Engine:
Custom GPS spoofing signal generation (no reuse of open-source code)
SDR-based transmission (HackRF or equivalent)
Accurate signal generation for L1 C/A code (minimum)
Hardware to Be Procured and Integrated by You

You will be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and integrating the following:

Item Purpose
SDR Hardware (e.g., HackRF One) GPS signal transmission
Active GPS Antenna (SMA) Signal emission inside test enclosure
RF Shield Box (Faraday Cage) Contain GPS spoofed signal legally and safely
High-spec Laptop or PC Capable of signal generation and SDR control
SMA cables/adapters Antenna connection
(Optional) Raspberry Pi or GPIO module For physical triggers if implemented
Security & Compliance Requirements

No use of open-source GPS spoofing libraries (e.g., gps-sdr-sim, GNURadio)
All code must be original, written from scratch, and fully auditable
Testing must be confined to shielded environments only
You are responsible for ensuring legal and secure operation of hardware during development and testing
Deliverables

Complete source code (frontend + backend + signal engine)
Full hardware procurement and setup
Dashboard for test case control
Signal generation scripts
SDR transmission system
Log storage and export functions
Shielded test setup ready for demo
Setup manual, user guide, and test walkthrough
Timeline & Budget

Preferred timeline: 6–8 weeks
Budget: Open to proposals based on experience and completeness
You must handle end-to-end delivery, including functional testing and hardware setup
To Apply, Please Provide:

Your experience with SDR or GNSS systems
Confirmation that you will develop original GPS signal generation code
Your proposed hardware stack (SDR, antenna, shield box, PC specs)
Delivery timeline with major milestones
Support availability during final testing
This project is ideal for someone with a background in:

SDR-based GPS systems
Signal processing and spoofing simulation
RF testing and compliance
Full-stack software/hardware delivery
