Job ID: 37834408

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

Web App to Extract colors from image. Will likely require Python, JavaScript. Possibly React or Vue. Full Stack freelancers needed to complete the project.

Extract colors from a user-uploaded image (jpg, jpeg, png, svg, eps, pdf) with varying degrees of customization for desired tolerance and outputs.

Requirements:

Adjust tolerance (inspects every pixel vs inspects 1/5 pixels) only if there is significant difference in output speed between the two. Significant being greater than approx. 10 seconds. Tolerance can possibly be based on method other than percentage of pixels.

Output should show all colors in grouped in HEX, RGB, CMYK, and Pantone.

Output assessment of means/medians/modes within each color group to display weighted percentage of colors both with data and visualization (tableau?)

Unique proprietary code/symbol/qr that contains the output data for use in other applications via a custom API. The application using this API will be able to select the type of data it will extract/use from the user's image's unique code/symbol/qr. This will also allow 3rd party apps to link to the member's account to have access to all of their individual images (with output data and codes), along with the group output data and codes.

A members area with the ability to separate features based on user's membership tier. Admin will be able to select features, frequencies, and output details for each tier. For example, free membership users may be limited by output detail, number of full feature uses, QR data points, number of saved projects, number of users given access to a member profile etc. User outputs will have the option to share aspects of output with various platforms (WhatsApp, Email, Slack, Pinterest (for sharing visuals)

The membership tiers will be Free, Pro, and Team.

The UI/UX will need to be very organized/clean, and professional.

User process/perspective:

Uploads or drops logo into the application.

Application does a quick scan to estimate amount of time needed for range of tolerances/details (if needed)

User selects desired tolerance/detail

User is presented with aestheticly pleasing visuals and details of color data summaries. They can expand (collapsable sections) the areas of specific interest so that there is not data "overload" in the summary. Professional watermark on exported data that appears informative vs spam ("Extracted by [business name")

User can export a report of each of their uploaded image's data, and/or save to their account, and/or have a the unique code created for use with 3rd party applications.

Within user account there will be a profile section for general user information and subscription information. There will also be a projects section. This will show a thumbnail of what the uploaded images were along with date/time and data such as tolerance requested in originals. Report download link, QR or code copy/download. Will also show full tolerance output that is created for all requests (low priority if wasn't selected by user.

Each upload (and subsequent data) can be added to user-generated (and named) groups for ability to sort between projects and make group downloads or a group summary. A group summary will allow the option to create a single data extra of all of the images contained in the group. The number and total cumulative size of the photos will be determined by membership tier.
