Sr. Full Stack Engineer for Edu-Tech Contract
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
One of my higher Ed client in US is looking for a Sr. Full stack engineer for their multiple products. is a contract role (fully remote). Min 3 months - extensible to a year.
Has CST/EST timezone mandatory time ovelap for 4-5 hours on week
The Sr Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, deployment, and support of multiple products. They will need to have strong technical expertise and able to work with the business and other IT teams, while delivering their projects on time and mentoring other developers..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
• Create technical specifications based on functional specifications
• Write code to meet technical specifications
• Test code and make appropriate modifications, including optimization
• Complete appropriate documentation in compliance with all procedures and standards
• Recommend improvements/modifications to software architecture
• Communicate with product managers and non-development business units on progress, issues and technical specifications
• Contributes to and manages small to medium projects
• Provides guidance and direction to development team
• Uses ingenuity and originality to solve complex problems
• Works with limited oversight and maintains productivity
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills, and Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree (BSCS, BSEE etc.) or equivalent work experience required
• At least 8+ years of experience hands on design, development, delivering software to market and support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of the software development cycle and experience with Agile delivery
• Effective time management and problem solving skills
• Strong development skills with hands on experience and troubleshooting skills
• Experience troubleshooting and solving complex and large-scale software problems
• Possesses expertise in the software development life cycle
• Full stack web developer with 10+ years experience in the latest front-end and backend tech stacks
• Python backend preferred. Pyramid/Pylons also preferred
• AngularJS/jquery/DOM/Bootstrap CSS markup front end preferred
• MySQL/MongoDB/REDIS experience preferred
• AWS experience would be nice
• Docker development environment with VS Code preferred
• Experience with large complex code bases
• Complex data integrations via REST/JSON APIs
• Some experience with AI dev tools i.e. Co-pilot or Cody
• JIRA/Confluence Agile development, daily standups
