Full-Stack Dev for Large-scale Platform Deployment
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer proficient in Python, Django, and ReactJS for executing deployment and onboarding users on a large-scale platform. The role requires a medium level of Dev-Ops experience and is not a beginner's playground.
Key functionalities:
- Deployment of a large django platform to GCS - servers / containers are already set up
- Implementing and managing user authentication and payment processing using the Stripe API - this too is already set up its just part of deployment.
- the ability to consider, discuss then apply simple solutions to issues known to us regarding excessive query load within the system
- We have cloud run for deployment, the containers with all our users data are already in google cloud.
Ideal Candidate:
******* Must have a working camera on their local machine****** As you will be given access to client secrets and sensitive information - we require someone who we can at least meet and see and talk with.
- Should have strong hands-on experience with Python, Django, ReactJS, Google Cloud.
- Should understand the dynamics of large-scale platform deployment (was formally on AWS) - it runs on 6 docker containers, and can deploy directly from there.
- Experience with Celery, Redis, Mail and Stripe platforms.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and potentially be looking for longer term work.
Its painful to have to write this but after a few instances where we just shook out head in disbelief - to clarify what having python / django experience means - it means you know how to do a pip install. One of those meetings was enough for a lifetime.
