Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in a professional programming position
Strong CS fundamentals, including a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
5+ years of experience with backend frameworks such as Python + Flask, Node + Express
5+ years of experience using databases (RDBMS & NoSQL) in a production environment, including schema design, query optimization, and working with object relational mappers.
3+ years of experience using modern deployment technologies & cloud technologies in a production environment. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase is a plus.
Strong Expertise with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS. Experience with TypeScript, React Native, and UI kits such as Material UI or Tailwind UI is a plus.
Strong understanding of modern web application design patterns and concepts (SPAs, REST, GraphQL, containerization, testing, microservices etc.).
Strong understanding of agile practices and tools.
Proven software design skills with the ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an effective and efficient communication style.
Experience working on a Fintech or finance product
Experience working in blockchain related projects is a huge plus

Be an active part of the core team of a fast-paced and agile tech environment
Build, test, and continuously deploy code across the backend and frontend.
Research and propose solutions to complex business and engineering challenges.
Maintain thorough code coverage by writing high-quality unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Write exemplary documentation.
