Pannini Educational Ventures is an initiative to transform K-12 education through innovation, technology, and proven methodologies. We are looking for a Freelance Data Scientist Consultant to assist us in optimizing our LLM usage, tackling current challenges, and refining our architecture.
Role & Responsibilities:
Assist in analyzing and optimizing the performance of LLMs within our application.
Provide guidance on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to improve model output quality.
Offer recommendations for designing a scalable and efficient data architecture.
Implement best practices in prompt engineering to enhance model effectiveness.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of LLM capabilities.
Assist in handling and preprocessing data to improve model training and inference.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations for improving system robustness and efficiency.
Requirements:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of machine learning concepts.
Experience in handling and preprocessing structured and unstructured data.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques for LLMs.
Experience with RAG frameworks and improving LLM-based applications.
Familiarity with LLM APIs (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and related tooling.
Ability to work independently and provide expert recommendations.
Nice to Have:
Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
Exposure to MLOps and model deployment best practices.
Understanding of cloud platforms and scalable architectures.
