Flood Prediction Agent-Based Model

Job ID: 37566896

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking for a highly-skilled modeler to develop an agent-based modeling environment specifically designed for flood prediction. This project requires unique functionalities that include but aren't limited to:

- Real-time data integration; This is crucial to swiftly updating changes and ensuring that the most current findings are always accessible
- Map visualization for the perfect depiction and understanding of environment and data
- Historical data analysis to extract patterns and relationships for more accurate predictions

Moreover, this project will leverage the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) technique in a rather unique way. We intend to:

- Retrieve similar past flood cases for a comparative approach and to enrich the model with practical data and scenarios
- Adapt and apply relevant solutions derived from past cases to improve our prediction model
- Generate probabilistic functions from these cases to provide a spectrum of flood probabilities

For this project, experience with designing agent-based models and implementing CBR is a must. Ideally, familiarity with real-time data integration, map visualizations, and historical data analysis is also desired.

I would like to implement the back end of this system using MESA by Python
