Fix Discord Python Script for scanning and sending messages via Discord API
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a Python developer to fix my Discord script that is not sending messages correctly. The project requires immediate attention as it is highly urgent. It is working but missing a few features that I wanted.
This script was done by another freelancer who abandoned the project.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Discord API and Python
- Experience in fixing script issues and debugging
- Ability to scan and send messages correctly using the Discord API
Detailed description:
Hello, I have a task for you! I hired another freelancer to create a bot (Python script) - he completed 95% of the script. The bot is running but needs adjusting (fixing around 5 things). He left the project.
Therefore I am looking for someone who will take over the project, take a look at the project and fix the 5 things.

Briefly: it is a script that scans regularly (around 10 seconds) a certain website and sends messages filled with data from that website. If someone responds to certain messages, they do not receive the same message about the same event name. It tracks everything that it is being sent and replied to via Google Sheets API.

What needs to be changed:
1, In the bet message change "Booker Name" to "Bookie".
2, Each bet on discord should have in the beginning inserted this text: ----NEW BET---- and then one empty row under it
3, Under filters on BetBurger we use three bookies (Tipsort, Pinnacle and Fortuna) If:
A, Pinnacle and Fortuna (ignore Pinnacle and send Tipsport)
B, Pinnacle and Tipsport (ignore pinnacle and send Tipsport)
C, Pinnacle and Pinnacle (ignore completely this event)
D, The links sometimes do not load properly or take a lot of time to load - each link can be found inside the odds value (they are a redirect links so first you need to get the original url ifortuna.cz or tipsport.cz) All links should come asap.
5, same bet for same event if the user already placed a bet should not come again:
A, If I place a bet for the event: Djokovic - Federer and bookie Fortuna
B, In this case, the user who already placed a bet will never receive the bet for the same event (no matter the bookie)
