Fine Tune NGINX with Gunicron server to be able to run flask application without getting timed out

I am using a flask application and hosting it on Nginx - Gunicorn. The user runs an API that triggers a script and runs continuously until it completes something and then exits. The script is running in a python thread and can run for as long as required depending on what user configuration. The issue is, the server is able to server around 1000 requests successfully, but after that it gets slowed and the internet connectivity of my flask application slows down which causes it to get really slowed in response.
So I need someone to fix that issue and fine tune my server so that I can work efficiently
