Fetch API/XML feeds using script(Power BI)

I am a coding/PowerBI novice. I need someone to help me to develop a script for fetching API/XML feeds into PowerBI. The API/XML feeds might have user authentication/cookies. I need the data to be live and refreshable in a specific time period. I have a development kit for python/java with me.

I will need to verbally describe my ideas to you, at the beginning of the project.

Final deliverables:

A working script for Microsoft PowerBI
Refresh data on schedule in PowerBI
Any supplemental materials included in a zip file
