Fashion Image Web Scraper
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m looking for a seasoned Python developer skilled in web scraping to create a script for me. The objective of the Python script is to automate the process of scraping the web for fashion item images from popular websites such as Farfetch, Modivo and similar, and download these images into a specified folder.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Python and web scraping
- Experience in working with multi-website scraping projects
- Familiarity with automated tasks like image downloading
- We have an Excel file, with one column (D) which shows the article code we look for via Google; in the columns from "K" to "P" I have enclosed different ways to write the code that can be useful for the search, since there are multiple choices with regards to the image address.
The Script should Create a new Folder and download the images inside that.
The Excel file I enclose contains already the images we have manually downloaded ourselves, but it is a very time consuming task and I would like to Automate it somehow.
The images are found all over the web, with no specific websites, unfortunately. We try to avoid E-bay because the quality of the images is often bad. The most common, but not solely, are Farfetch, Modivo, Modesense, Glamood... but actually the images may be also on others, less famous e-commerce.
IMPORTANT: images which are not JPG native, like i.e. HEIC, or WEBP should be downloaded in a separate folder, since we need to properly re-save them in JPG to be also uploaded to our ATELIER Software.
Other relevant Info: we have IMAC (Big Sur), eventually we can work in Windows10 through a remote server.
