Extract algorithm written in Python, with parts written in Cython/C, into pure Python

Good day, most of the programming has already been completed by a researcher. there is an algorithm, in Python format, that also has some processes in Cython/C, but I need parts of it extracted and modified to work for my use case. Some of the calculations are in Cython, which I can’t decipher and need it in pure Python. Please let me know if this is something you can easily handle. Modified algorithm needs to be applied with real-time data feed
