Extend a Python (FastAPI + SQLAlchemy) project
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
This project will include a few items centralised around extending a FastAPI project with features in SQLAlchemy. Notably:
- Extending models to contain business logic
- Writing automated tests for the work done
- Implementing new code to produce and handle system events
- Using ownership rules to dictate object visibility
The project is in Gitlab, and the tasks are managed in Gitlab. Access will be provided upon award. Documentation also lives in GitLab and all code will need its functionality documented. Payment will be based on tickets completed to the definition of done defined.
A good candidate will have worked with Python to a strong level and have a working understanding of SQL databases, understand authentication mechanisms and have used streaming & event-driven systems before. To be considered for this project please share previous projects you've worked on (open source projects would be great), database experience you've had within python and an example of a REST API you've built or used before.
We also use Google Firebase so experience in this SasS would be a plus also.
