Expert Python3 developer to build an UI application for text editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Looking for an expert Python3 developer to build an application with GUI to support text editing purposes.
The app is design to be used as a text editor tool for report/documentation writing.
Screens design will be sent via chat, we are looking at 4-5 simple screens with menu overlay. There will be need to work with selection of text and interact with API to fetch info/replace text.
Some key features that must be included:
- all menu/labels text must be read from a config file, we want to use different languages so there need to be an option to toggle at start up screen
- data to be stored locally with the option to back up data via API, the reports / documentation can be extremely
long so must be able to handle large data set in various languages
- need to be packaged as standalone application
To apply you must be proficient at building UI applications and also working with external APIs.
We will provide you with a git repo to check in the code, we will then build and verify prior to any milestone payment. if you request payment without providing code and validation we will cancel the project and work with someone else.
We are happy to work with any well known UI framework such as PyQT or StreamLit, please submit your proposal as part of your bid.
