Experienced Linux System Administrators Needed

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Linux Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and automating our Linux infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Red Hat, Amazon Linux 2, Ubuntu, and CentOS systems, leveraging automation tools and scripts to optimize operations.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat, Amazon Linux 2, Ubuntu, and CentOS servers.
• Manage and maintain Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for cloud deployments.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Implement and utilize Ansible for infrastructure configuration management.
• Leverage Tanium for endpoint management and security tasks.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Apply best security practices and maintain system security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve system issues.
• Document procedures and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Linux technologies and automation tools.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience in managing Red Hat, Amazon Linux 2, Ubuntu, and CentOS systems.
• Broad understanding of Linux server administration tasks, including user management, filesystems, networking, and security.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Experience with Ansible for infrastructure configuration management.
• Familiarity with Tanium for endpoint management and security.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
